GUIDELINES
1. These guidelines have particular relevance during Terms 1 and 4 of the school year.

2. Children are required to wear a sunhat (bucket style or broad rimmed) when they are outside and / or taking part in school activities. You may provide your own or purchase a 'School' hat from the office ($9). Caps are not allowed

3. The school will operate a ‘no hat’ - play in the shade policy.

ALSO
Children will be encouraged to wear suitable clothing (sleeve/collars) that protect the skin from the sun.

CONCLUSION
Our emphasis is upon promoting a positive education programme, encouraging ‘commonsense’ in relation to extended periods in the sun - and for children to take personal responsibility for being ‘sunsmart’
